Welcome to Edit Me Lo Creative Agency ("Edit Me Lo," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.editmelo.com (the "Site") and any services, content, or products we offer. By accessing the Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Edit Me Lo is a creative agency based in Indianapolis, Indiana, offering brand identity, web development, social media management, creative design services, and related digital services. Specific scope, timelines, and deliverables for each engagement are defined in a separate proposal, Statement of Work (SOW), or client agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed SOW, the SOW shall control for that specific engagement.
The Website Plug is a limited-time promotional offer running through April 30, 2026. By purchasing or requesting The Website Plug, you acknowledge and agree to the following additional terms:
All fees are due in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified. Standard brand and web projects follow a 50/25/25 payment split (50% upfront, 25% mid-project, 25% upon delivery), unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower. Edit Me Lo reserves the right to pause or terminate work on past-due accounts.
All content on the Site — including logos, text, graphics, design, code, and imagery — is owned by Edit Me Lo or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
Once final payment is received for a project, you receive full ownership of the final deliverables (logos, designs, code, content) created specifically for you. Edit Me Lo retains the right to display the work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Projects may include third-party assets (fonts, stock photos, plugins, etc.). Licenses for such assets are passed through to you as allowed by their respective licensors. Any additional licensing fees required for client-specific use are the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Delays caused by client non-responsiveness may extend project timelines and are not grounds for refund.
Due to the custom nature of our work, all payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you wish to cancel a project before work has begun, please contact us in writing at info@editmelo.com. Any refunds issued are at Edit Me Lo's sole discretion. Website Plug payments are non-refundable as work begins immediately after kickoff.
If you elect for our hosting and maintenance plan, services are provided on a month-to-month basis ($25/mo) or annual basis at agreed rates. Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice. Upon cancellation, we will assist in transferring your site to another host, but do not guarantee uptime or performance on third-party hosts. Hosting fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information shared during the course of an engagement. This obligation survives the termination of any project.
THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR RESULTS. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
We do not guarantee specific results from our services (e.g., specific conversion rates, search rankings, follower counts, or revenue outcomes). Marketing and design outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDIT ME LO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR OUR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EDIT ME LO FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Edit Me Lo, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third parties. Your use of third-party sites and services is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Termination of an engagement does not relieve the client of any payment obligations incurred prior to termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with any signed proposal, SOW, or client agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Edit Me Lo regarding the Site and our services, and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
